West Mesa has the oldest housing in the city, much of it built between the fifties and the seventies around downtown and the Country Club corridor. Older houses mean older plumbing: galvanised supply lines still in service, cast iron waste lines that crack, and water heaters well past their sensible life.
That vintage drives the calls we get here. Cracked waste lines produce sewage backups, original copper under the concrete produces slab leaks, and tanks well past ten years produce garage floods.
Age changes the job. Homes from that era are more likely to have asbestos-containing floor tile or textured ceilings, so we test before demolition rather than after, and the drying plan works around whatever has to stay in place.
